16 Plus Supported Accommodation

Our service aims to actively identify and enhance the hopes and aspirations of everyone involved in our service including the people supported, staff, and relevant stakeholders to provide support to young people to achieve all outcomes in both the short and long term.

We provide accommodation and support on a long and short-term basis in shared and individual housing. We have capacity to accommodate young people with care, support, and supervision requirements.

We support the development of skills to improve the quality of life as well as the well-being of young people and their parents by focusing on reducing the frequency and intensity of characteristics identified as challenging.

We take great care in providing our patients with the best possible support. Our approach involves following a set of documented steps that revolve around positive behavior support principles. Each person is treated as an individual, which means we get to know the patient’s unique behavior and communication preferences. We aim to create a tailored support system that enhances the quality of life for the patient and their loved ones.

Our team actively assesses the physical and social environment in which each patient lives. We take into account the perspectives of all stakeholders, including family members if appropriate, to better understand each patient’s behavior. From this, we develop an optimized support plan that is implemented and evaluated regularly. By following these principles, we can create an environment that is as unrestrictive as possible while helping our patients lead more fulfilling lives.
